SPACE and Culture Lab (Newcastle) come together to bring you an evening of experimental electronica, featuring performances from: Jamie Allen’s CircuitMusic, Jo Kazuhiro, PixelH8, Massive Black Mountain (Will Schrimshaw & Nick J Williams), Adam Parkinson(Rare and Glorius) The Cane Toad Orchestra (OpenLab) and Dave Griffiths(Slub).
DJ RE:ROOT (Marc Garrett) from arts collective www.furtherfield.org provides punk, new wave, no wave, post punk and early electronica from 1976 – 1984 and Dean Baldwin’s “Minibar” the smallest bar in London will open its doors for one of the last times.
Tell your enemies, friends and family- this is going to be good.

PixelPusher wil be joining veteran livecoders Dave Griffiths and Gabor Papp as part of a livecoding workshop and performance night for Resonance, Ghent, Belgium. I promise to crash my laptop at least once duting the performance, just so you know its live!

Yaxu (Alex McLean of http://lurk.org) captured this great shot from Area 10 Medialab launch gig this weekend. I have a nice hi-res video of the event, plus some of the other performances, which I’ll upload soon. I also have some great audio and video (audio straight from the soundboard, really clean and clear as a mountain spring) from the last Immersion that I’ve been meaning to post. My computer had a Quicktime meltdown, but is back in fine working shape again and ready to spend hours rendering quality video once more.
